Hello families, players, and volunteers,

We are happy to announce that registration for the 2021 Little League season is open. We are excited for the return to the diamond this year. This past year was challenging for a myriad of reasons but we can't wait to see our families back this year, but obviously it will be different. We will be playing under the governor's youth sports return to play protocol. This will include masks, sanitizer, social distancing in the dugout, sanitation of team equipment and recommendation to use personal equipment whenever possible. We are excited to return but want to ensure we so as safely as possible. And while we hope to have all of our player back this year, we know some of you may choose to sit out 2021.

For those players looking to participate, please go to our website https://www.shall-littleleague.com register as soon as possible. This will help plan teams accordingly as we expect COVID to impact our total registration numbers. It is our intention to start practices in March, with games starting in April. We are working with our partner leagues and school district and will provide more details to share out in early March.

Lastly, South Highline American Little League is run by all volunteers. It is the parents of the players who must all step up and take a role in running the league. Everyone is encouraged to volunteer in some capacity during the season in one of many roles. Some of the most common are: manager, coach, umpire, team parent, Snack Shack, fundraiser coordinator, field maintenance, etc. We also have some positions available on our board. Please offer your assistance and help us out. With everyone's dedication to the children, we will maintain a high-quality youth program.
